Nav Singh
Nav Singh is first generation Writer and Producer originally from Sacramento, California where her parents immigrated from the Fiji Islands in the early 70's. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2002, she has held internships with Reveille and HBO in the Development departments and in 2004 she aimed to increase her level of Post- Production experience at Novastar Post, Inc. as Director of Operations. While there for six years she expanded the Audio department to include Network and Cable Television and Web-based content in addition to Studio and Independent Features. In the last year she has forayed back into the creative side of Production and co-founded NE Entertainment, LLC with Producing partner Elizabeth Collins. Their first production, "How To Get Lost," provides travel tips for a younger audience (18-32 years) and was followed up with the short film, "Lily Look Here," and documentary"Bailout" which followed five Americans on a road trip from Chicago to Las Vegas in a 1983 Winnebago trying to make sense of the financial bailouts and stick it back to the banks. They've also ventured into the webisode series market with "Get Busy" scheduled for release in Fall 2011. Their newest programs scheduled for production in late 2011 include a single camera sitcom, a nonscripted documentary series, and more content for the internet. If she’s not at home clipping coupons, Nav is most likely riding around Hollywood on her Segway or schooling people with her knowledge of obscure R&B jams.
Elizabeth Collins
Elizabeth Collins relocated to Los Angeles during her senior year of college to finish her degree at CBS Radford doing the Semester in LA program via Columbia College Chicago. Immediately after graduating, she interned for Robert Cort Productions and later became the executive assistant to Neil Goldberg of On Demand Media Group while holding a spot on the creative development team. She later expanded her knowledge to post production
as the Facility and Project Manger of Novastar Post, Inc. There she was responsible for expanding the company portfolio to reality based TV series, episodic television and independent features while also acting as comptroller.
Elizabeth decided to dip back into her development roots and co-founded NE Entertainment, LLC with partner Nav Singh. Currently Elizabeth is a full time producer and creator. She co-produced “How To Get Lost”, a witty travel show geared towards young professionals. Also the producer of a short filmed titled “Lily Look Here” that is currently making the festival circuit. NE Entertainment has a plethora of exciting projects in development that range from reality to sitcoms to documentary film and even web series. In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys brunches, buying things with bananas on them, and making budgets.
Alec Pinkston
Alec Pinkston was an award winning culinary graduate from UNLV who couldn’t shake his desire to create. After training at Second City and Improv Olympic Theatres in Chicago, he started the Lakewood Manor Players, a tri-coastal (LA, Chicago, Boston) sketch comedy group and began a period of constant writing, filming and editing. After several years and nearly 100 sketches and commercial parodies, he was hired to create real commercials as an Idea Generator at The Odd Machine Studio in Chicago.Since moving to LA, Alec has overseen development of the travel show concept “How to Get Lost” and the morning show concept "Sick Day". His original comedy pilot "Sh*tcom was a finalist at the 2011 New York Television Festival. He has written and directed a number of comedic shorts that have been featured in the London Independent Film Festival, TBS Just for Laughs, Austin Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, and Chicago Short Comedy Festival among others. He enjoys training dogs to pet each other and writing about himself in the third person.
